Health care reform - lessons from Georgia for implementation in Ukraine
Press conference on the theme: "health care Reform - lessons from Georgia for implementation in Ukraine". The Republic of Georgia has experienced one of the most radical health reforms in the world, held for two years. But there were times when the world health organization estimated the health care system of Georgia as one of the worst in the world "free" medical services provided in an environment of widespread corruption. Today, the health care system of Ukraine, which consumes a total expenditure in excess of 7.5% of GDP, higher than in some EU countries, needs to be reformed. The main purpose of the press conference is to acquaint with the Georgian experience of reforming the health care industry and to indicate the possibilities of its application in Ukraine.
