Party of Regions again blocks parliament’s rostrum and presidium
The faction demands Lutsenko`s resignation
Party of Regions faction members have again blocked the parliament’s rostrum and presidium. As of 10.10 a.m., the parliament’s leadership did not enter the session hall.
As UNIAN reported earlier, on May 14, top deputy Speaker Oleksander Lavrynovych announced an interval in the parliament’s work till 10.00 of May 15. Factions leaders were invited to take part in consultations at the Verkhovna Rada leadership.
Anti-Lutsenko [Interior Minister] slogans and a bottle with water again appeared in the session hall on Friday morning.
The Party of Regions faction has been blocking the parliament’s work since May 12, pressing for resignation of Interior Minister of Ukraine Yuri Lutsenko, over the drunken incident in the Frankfurt airport.
