"We can also predict that everything what is happening today, i.e. not the termination, but the intensification of military actions: Everything that has happened around Debaltseve and what is happening in the "M" or Mariupol sector, may be chronic," Turchynov said.
"And in order to stop these provocations, in order not to allow the Russian Federation to speculate about this, we have a proposal for the introduction of peacekeepers into the territory of Ukraine, who should stand along the contact line as well as along the uncontrolled part of the Russian-Ukrainian border," Turchynov said.
According to Turchynov, this will help to register and most importantly localize violations.
"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will prepare a resolution, and the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine should support a decision on the appeal to the UN and the EU on the deployment of peacekeepers in the territory of Ukraine," Turchynov added.
