In his latest report, Ostrovsky met with British citizen journalist and blogger Eliot Higgins, who has made a name for himself by using photos freely available online to pinpoint the location of soldiers and terrorists all over the world, Ukraine Today reports.

In the Vice News report, Higgins - who has now teamed up with American think-tank the Atlantic Council - says he has no doubt about the evidence of Russia's involvement in Ukraine, including evidence of Russia launching artillery attacks into Ukraine from Russian soil, as well as sending Russian military vehicles and soldiers into Ukraine.

During the report Ostrovsky used open source information to track currently serving Russian soldier Bato Dambayaev from Siberia, where he serves in a Russian army unit on the Mongolian border, to Ukraine, finding multiple indications of Dambayev not only fighting in Ukraine, but also being an active member of the Russian army.
