Ukraine’s Jamala has taken the first spot at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest; 264 deputies voted for the appointment of Yuriy Lutsenko Prosecutor General of Ukraine; there are 41 million internally displaced persons across the world.

Ukraine’s representative Jamala has taken the first place in Eurovision-2016 Song Contest, hosted by Sweden this year. The entry titled “1944” has told a story of the deportation of the Crimean Tatar people from Crimea by Stalin’s regime.

Rubezhansky city court of Luhansk region sentenced  a former mayor of Zolote (Luhansk region) Volodymyr Kochevenko to two years in prison for supporting the creation of the so-called "Luhansk People’s Republic," according to the Security Service of Ukraine.

The total value of this collection is estimated at over EUR 16 million, according to the documents, provided by the Border Guard Service and the Military Prosecutor's Office.

264 deputies voted for the appointment of the former head of the Bloc of Petro Poroshenko parliamentary faction, Yuriy Lutsenko, Ukraine’s Prosecutor General. Lutsenko took the oath of a member of the Supreme Council of Justice. According to him, he sees himself in this position only for a period of about one and a half years.

643 Ukrainian citizens and 469 companies affiliated with Ukraine were mentioned in documents from the new database from the Panama Papers archive holding data on over 214,000 shell companies, foreign media reported. In general, the database contains information on more than 360,000 people and companies associated with offshore structures.

4,076 members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have received psychological assistance in 2016 in the zone of the Anti-Terrorist Operation, according to the Ukrainian army officials. Since the beginning of the ATO, such assistance has been provided to 19,712 troops.
