The meeting of the politicians is slated for January 15, it said.

"On January 15, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko will hold a bilateral meeting with U.S. Vice President Joseph Biden during his visit to Ukraine," the report says.

Earlier reports said that incumbent U.S. Vice President Joe Biden planned to visit Ukraine before the end of 2016.
