OSCE to hold meeting on Avdiyivka today, Jan 31

"OSCE Special Permanent Council meeting on Avdiivka will take place today, on 31 January," the mission tweeted.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the combined Russian-separatists forces repeatedly attacked Ukrainian positions in Avdiyivka's industrial zone on January 29, the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) headquarters said. The enemy had to retreat after they had sustained losses.

However, active fighting in Avdiyivka is still ongoing as the Russian-occupation forces try to seize Ukrainian positions, having launched another assault.
