Yatsenyuk instructs Govt to prepare for shutdown of Russian gas, Ukraine files lawsuit on "Gazprom" in the Stockholm court of arbitration

Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk instructed the relevant ministries, oblast state administrations and the leadership of the National Joint Stock Company "Naftogaz of Ukraine" from Monday, June 16, to go over to a plan on functioning of the energy sector in the conditions of the termination of deliveries of Russian gas.

The Public Relations and Mass Media Department of the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers disclosed this to UNIAN.

Moreover, "Naftogaz Ukraine" and the Ministry of Justice were instructed to finalize the procedure of preparation to defend the interests of Ukraine in relations with Russian gas monopoly "Gazprom" in the Stockholm arbitration court.
