The project's leaders say the Ukrainian dog trainers are doing an excellent job. However, combatting the stigma of mental illness in the military is still on the agenda outside the training grounds, to prevent war veterans from turning to alcohol, drugs or heavy medication in an attempt to forget the horrors of war.
