Poroshenko awards 74 ATO participants, including posthumous recipients
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has presented state awards to 74 servicemen who defended the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine while performing combat tasks in Donbas, according to Decree No. 330 issued on August 11, the president's press service told a UNIAN correspondent.
In particular, two employees of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were awarded the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytskiy posthumously. Eight military personnel were awarded the Order For Courage, of which seven were posthumous recipients. In addition, 63 fighters received the Defender of the Motherland Medals.
