Deputy Commander of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) Staff Major General Bohdan Bondar has said the disengagement of forces and weapons in new sectors is impossible in the winter.

"We are entering such a period that weather conditions will not always allow us to prepare new positions. In addition, if there is a frost, it is forbidden to remove mine explosive barriers, i.e. we cannot carry out mine clearance – this is prohibited by the protocol," Bondar told journalists, the Ukrainian news outlet Novosti Donbasa reported.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the practical phase of the disengagement of troops and weapons of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the occupying forces kicked off near the village of Petrivske in Donbas on November 9.
