From 18:00 to midnight on August 25, the Russian proxies were firing 120mm mortars three times on ATO forces in the town of Krasnohorivka. At 21:00 Kyiv time, they started firing tank shells, anti-aircraft guns and small arms on a fortified position of the Ukrainian troops in the village of Opytne.
"In addition, continuing the insidious tactics of escalation in Donbas, the militants were firing 120mm mortars on residential areas in Krasnohorivka from 18:30 to 19:06. At 22:20 Kyiv time, they started firing 122mm artillery systems on residential areas of the town of Avdiyivka. At 21:30 Kyiv time, the mercenaries started firing mortars on our fortified position in the town of Schastia in Luhansk region," the press center said.
At the end of the day, the Kremlin-backed mercenaries were firing small arms on the villages of Luhanske, Troitske, Maiorske and Sanzharivka. There were no armed provocations in the area of the Ukrainian-controlled port city of Mariupol from 18:00 to midnight on August 25.
