"In the Donetsk sector, the enemy fired heavy machine guns and grenade launchers of various systems on the Ukrainian fortified positions near the villages of Pisky, Berezove, Luhanske and Troyitske, as well as mortars on fortified positions near the town of Avdiyivka, and the villages of Nevelske, Opytne, Novhorodske and Zaitseve. The militants fired from infantry fighting vehicles near the village of Maiorsk, as well as heavy mortars on the Ukrainian defenders of the Butivka coal mine," the ATO HQ said in an update as of 06:00 Kyiv time on June 29.

They also fired 82mm and 120mm mortars on the Ukrainian fortified positions near the village of Shyrokyne and the town of Krasnohorivka. The enemy snipers were active near the town of Maryinka.
"In Luhansk region, the enemy fired mortars on the Ukrainian positions near the village of Novozvanivka, as well as small arms and automatic grenade launchers near the village of Krymske and the Crimea and the Zolote entry/exit checkpoint," the press center said.
