Ukraine reports 13 KIA's, 59 WIA's in Donbas war in past six days
Thirteen Ukrainian soldiers were reported to have been killed in action (KIA's), and another 59 wounded in action (WIA's), inside the Anti-Terrorist Operation zone (ATO) in eastern Ukraine in the past six days, according to a Ukrainian Member of Parliament.
"In the past six days, Ukraine lost 13 soldiers in the ATO zone. Fifty-nine were wounded," Secretary of the Verkhovna Rada's National Security and Defense Committee, MP Ivan Vinnyk, said in parliament on Tuesday, a UNIAN correspondent reported.
Vinnyk also pointed to an increased escalation in the war zone. "They're firing at us using large-caliber artillery," he added.
