“If Russia doesn't leave the territories that are occupied, then they will develop nuclear weapons, as it is already going on in some countries - Iran, and others,” says Toms in an interview with Ukraine Today.

“The ultimate consequence of the violation of the Budapest Memorandum will be dozens and dozens of new nuclear powers. It will then become impossible to control all nuclear weapons, and we can then fear reasonably the development of nuclear terrorism,” he said.

Toms also discussed the role the BUCC plays in helping Ukrainian businesses access UK markets, and reform of one of the most corrupt spheres of Ukrainian life - the justice system.
