Open Door equals historic success,” Vershbow tweeted on Monday in a followup to the Russian President Vladimir Putin’s interview with the German Bild where he stated that NATO had to refuse from accepting new members after the fall of the Soviet Union and the end of the Cold War, in order not to create new demarcation lines.
