Terentiev appointed chairman of Antimonopoly Committee

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Tuesday adopted a resolution on the appointment of Yuriy Terentiev as chairman of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine, according to an UNIAN correspondent.

The corresponding decision, No. 2881, was supported by 266 MPs out of 330 registered in the session hall.

As reported, Terentiev was working from April 2012 in PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryviy Rih as Deputy General Counsel of the company.

Earlier, Terentiev led the legal support activities of the U.S. pharmaceutical company Bristol-Myers Squibb Ukraine. He also worked as legal adviser in international tobacco company JT International Company Ukraine.

In addition, he worked in an international trading company METRO Group - Metro Cash and Carry Ukraine as the head of legal department, head of financial control, the director of the Department of Development Coordination, the Director of Enforcement of legislation and corporate standards.
