Ukraine's National Energy and Utilities Regulation Commission (NEURC) has increased heating and hot water tariffs for residents of Kyiv's Dniprovskiy and Darnytsia districts, which are served by Darnytsia heat and power plant (CHPP) of Evro-Rekonstruktsia LLC.

The relevant resolution was adopted at the NEURC meeting on October 18.

In particular, the tariff for heating will grow by 3.7%, to UAH 1,225.19 (US$43) for residents living in houses and apartments with meters and up to UAH 32.58 ($1.1) per square meter monthly for those without meters.

The hot water tariff, provided a heated towel rail is connected, has increased from UAH 70.56 ($2.5) to UAH 73.53 ($2.6) per cubic meter. The tariff for apartments without heated towel rails rose from UAH 65.15 ($2.3) to 67.93 ($2.4) per cubic meter.

All tariffs include VAT. The resolution comes into force the day following the date of its publication in the official government bulletin Uriadovy Kurier.

UNIAN memo. Darnytsia CHPP provides heat and hot water to industrial enterprises and residential areas in Kyiv's Dniprovskiy and Darnytsia districts. The installed heat capacity of the enterprise is 1,080 Gcal per hour, while the installed electric power is 250 MW.
