The Kyiv funicular will resume its work at 12:00 on August 29, 2019.

The funicular has been closed for scheduled maintenance and repairs since July 22, 2019, according to the press service of Kyiv City State Administration with reference to the Kyivpastrans municipal enterprise.

During this year's maintenance works, communication gear was updated, while the floor and ceiling at the stations were refurbished. Traction engines, wheels, brakes, and pantographs have underwent repairs, it said.
