The robbery occurred just outside a banking institution in Kyiv’s Podilskiy district, commonly known as Podil, according to Espreso.tv.

The two masked attackers apparently caught off guard the man who was carrying the cash-filled bag, by pepper spraying him.

The criminals fled on an unidentified Infiniti, reportedly with UAH 2.4 million in cash.

As UNIAN reported earlier, an ATM machine had been blown up in Kharkiv. More than UAH 430,000 was stolen, the affected bank’s officials said.
