The next session of the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) on resolving the situation in Ukraine's east will take place in Minsk, Belarus, on May 4.

Special Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office in Ukraine and in the Trilateral Contact Group, Ambassador Martin Sajdik summed up results of the talks held on April 18, the Belarusian Telegraph Agency (BelTA) said.

During the meeting on April 18, the subgroup on humanitarian affairs continued discussing the exchange of prisoners of wars and their detention terms.

The subgroup on economic affairs discussed further steps needed to restore mobile communications service by Vodafone Ukraine Company in certain parts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. The subgroup also discussed the payment of pensions and water supply via the Carbonite and Voda Donbasa systems.

The subgroup on political affairs continued discussing the implementation of the so-called Steinmeier formula. It was stressed that the successful work of the subgroup needed interaction with representatives of the Normandy format.
