Full-fledged quarantine in Germany's Alpine region
The Alpine region in southern Germany was the first in the country since the first wave of coronavirus to announce full-fledged quarantine. Thus, 105,000 residents of Berchtesgadener Land, which borders Austria, will only be able to leave their homes for the most important reasons in the next two weeks.
