Opening of NATO Warsaw Summit

A two-day Summit of the North Atlantic Treaty Alliance at the level of Heads of State and Government starts in the Polish capital Warsaw July 8. A meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Commission will be held in the summit's framework July 9.

A total of 58 delegations from around the world, including 28 NATO Allies and 26 partner states, delegations from the NATO Headquarters, the World Bank, the UN, and the European Union take part in the event.

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko is also participating in the summit. Today, he has already met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
