"Two years after Bromide: the repression of protests going back"
a Press conference on the theme: "Two years after Bromide: the repression of protests going back". Organizer: Center for social and labor research, supported by NED. Two years ago in Ukraine there were mass protests against the government of Viktor Yanukovych. Some of the important reasons that brought people to the streets, were violations of the right to freedom of peaceful Assembly, the harassment of opposition, the contraction of civil rights and freedoms, corruption and abuses by law enforcement and judicial systems. The protesters had hoped that the new government will be able to guarantee and protect these rights and to deal with these problems.
