The Russian Federation has plans to dismember Ukraine, Ukraine's foreign minister Pavlo Klimkin said at an ICTV panel show.
"It doesn't take to be James Bond or some kind of super intel guy, to understand that Russia eyes both Mariupol and the entire coastline," Klimkin said.
He added that "in terms of military and non-military actions, Russia has plans for the whole southern Ukraine down to Transnistria, as well as for dismembering Ukraine," he said.
According to the foreign minister, the very existence of Ukraine is "a fundamental problem for [Putin's] system," and that is why Russia will not stop at this.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's parliament, on Nov 26 gave the green light to a presidential decree on the introduction of martial law in Ukraine following a Russian attack on Ukrainian Navy boats near the Kerch Strait after blocking their passage under the Kerch Strait Bridge toward the Azov Sea.
