Speaking in the city of Dnipro at the ceremony of commemorating the fallen heroes of the Revolution of Dignity and ATO troops on Monday, Poroshenko said: "Another very ambitious goal - on June 11, doors to the European Union have opened for Ukrainians as a visa-free travel was introduced for our big 45 million-strong nation... Just over a week ago I returned from the United Arab Emirates, where we signed a visa-free travel deal with a country where hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians travel each year."
Also, the president noted that in the near future more visa-free agreements are to be signed with other countries.
"Within two or three months we will have [deals sealed with] several other countries that are very important for Ukraine," the head of state said without specifying these countries.
As UNIAN reported earlier, citizens of Ukraine from December this year will be able to travel to the United Arab Emirates without visas.
On November 13, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin said that Ukraine was working to introduce a visa-free regime with Kuwait and Qatar.
