Lawmakers even blocked the entrance from corridors

Representatives of the Party of Regions and BYuT have blocked the rostrum and presidium of the Verkhovna Rada before the beginning of the plenary session today.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, as of 9.20 a.m., nearly 15 BYuT lawmakers gathered in the presidium. They are trying to guarantee that Verkhovna Rada Speaker Arseniy Yatseniuk will hold the plenary session. The same number of Party of Regions faction lawmakers blocked the rostrum of the Verkhovna Rada.

The lawmakers also blocked with chairs the way to presidium in the Verkhovna Rada chamber.

The Party of Regions posted up “NATO No Way!” poster on the Verkhovna Rada tribune. Besides, the lawmakers also blocked the entrance from corridors, by which the Speaker usually enters the parliament.
