"I believe that Ukrainian and Hungarian goals can be achieved. So that the Hungarians living in Ukraine learn the state language without the number of classes taught in Ukrainian increasing. We will help make teaching the Ukrainian language to the Hungarians of Zakarpattia region more effective. Learning the language at a very high level and simultaneously mastering and applying the mother tongue in the field of education are two goals that can be achieved simultaneously. We made proposals in this regard," the top diplomat said, according to a report by RBC delivered in Russian.

Earlier, Hungary named the condition for unblocking Ukraine's integration into NATO. In particular, Budapest believes that Ukraine should amend the law on education in accordance with the recommendations of the Venice Commission.
