Ukraine's capital city of Kyiv and four regions across the country have not yet met in full the criteria required for local authorities to further relax quarantine bans, moving to another stage of easing.
That's according to the Ministry of Health, which released its daily update on the coronavirus developments.
The incidence level allows no weakening of anti-epidemic measures in the city of Kyiv, as well as in the Volyn, Lviv, Rivne, and Chernivtsi regions.
The indicator of new COVID-19 cases over the past seven days in Kyiv stands at 14.59, in Volyn region – at 13.96, in Lviv region – at 18, in Rivne region – at 28.89, and in Chernivtsi region – at 32.18.
To move to the second stage of quarantine easing, the incidence rate must be below 12 per 100,000 of the population.
As UNIAN reported earlier, 485 new coronavirus patients were reported in Ukraine over the past 24 hours, including 29 children and 34 medical workers.
