At the same time, the enemy violated the truce by commencing engineering works near the village of Kalynove toward the Ukrainian positions near the town of Popasna. An enemy UAV was also spotted crossing the contact line near the village of Vodiane. The drone was suppressed by Ukrainian electronic warfare means.

What is more, a Ukrainian soldier was injured amid engineering works after he had stepped on an explosive device near Vodiane. Also, two servicemen were injured in a booby-trap blast near the village of Shumy.

"All the injured were taken to a hospital, their state of health is stable and satisfactory."

Since Wednesday midnight, Russian Federation's armed formations have opened fire once using an under-barrel grenade launcher near the village of Katerynivka.

No casualties have been reported since the beginning of the current day.

"However, unfortunately, a serviceman was killed near the village of Novotoshkivske as a result of careless handling of a grenade. Circumstances of the incident are being clarified. The Command of the soldier's military unit and military law enforcers are working at the scene," the report says.
