The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the world exceeded 28.1 million patients as of September 11.

The highest death toll was recorded in the United States (191,789 people), Brazil (129,522), India (76,271), Mexico (69,649), the United Kingdom (41,697), Italy (35,587), and France (30,819).

The countries most affected by the coronavirus pandemic include the United States (6,397,227 confirmed cases), India (4,562,414), Brazil (4,238,446), Russia (1,042,836), Peru (710,067), Colombia (694,664), Mexico (652,364), and South Africa (644,438).

As many as 188 countries have been affected by the virus.
