Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has commented on the alleged involvement of Deputy Head of the FSB Border Service Andrey Burlaka in the downing of flight MH17 in Donbas in 2014.

When asked by journalists of the BBC's Russian service if he could comment on the report released Tuesday claiming that one of the key figures in Russian security agencies' efforts in the area of the Russian-Ukrainian border, FSB Deputy Head Andrey Burlaka, aka "Vladimir Ivanovich", got into a spotlight of the Joint Investigative Team's probe, Peskov said: "We don't know what you're talking about."

At the same time, investigators say they have information about Russia's influence on the "DPR" administrative, financial, and military affairs.
