Spanish artist paints Kyiv subway rail cars

Ahead of the Day of Kyiv, a Spanish artist Kenoga, painted a train of the Kyiv subway running on a red line, in the framework of the project Art United Us.

The artist from Barcelona is specialized in colorful geometric paintings, giving the streets an exclusive mood. His murals can be seen in many cities across Poland, Germany, Denmark, France and Spain.

"Instead of being gray, the train looks cheerful, with a colorful Kenora-style abstract painting running across it, similar to what artist made in the Netherlands. The project Art United Us is aimed at transforming the gray residential areas into something more cheerful and bright," reads the statement by the Kyiv City State Administration.

The project curator, Geo Leros, said that another three-four cities are yet to be painted before year-end.
