Olympic Park in Rio

UNIAN's special correspondent Kirill Stadnichenko walked around the Olympic Park in Rio de Janeiro where the Olympic Games 2016 are currently underway.

Kirill said the park is modern and compact. It houses major sports facilities and is the venue for half of the sporting events. There are nine arenas in the Olympic Park.

In addition, those visitors lucky enough to get to the Olympic Park can enjoy different types of entertainment and buy souvenirs, food and beverages.
