Army veterans' bike ride dedicated to Ukraine's 25th year of independence

The army veterans' bike ride, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Ukraine's independence, kicked off from Uzhgorod on August 16.

Veterans of the Afghanistan war, participants in the Anti-Terrorist Operation in Donbas and other army veterans are participating in the ride. The ride begins in the west Ukrainian city of Uzhgorod and ends in the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, on Independence Day on August 24, 2016.

The participants plan to ride a distance of over 800 km.
