Open training session hosted for Ukraine's national football team

The Olympiysky sports complex in Kyiv hosted an open training session for the national football team on August 29, 2016, prior to the team's kickoff at the World Cup qualifiers in 2018.

Ukraine will start the qualifiers with a home game against Iceland in Kyiv on September 5. Unfortunately, the match will take place with empty stands, as Ukraine has been penalized for the behavior of Ukrainian fans during the match with Spain. In addition to Iceland, Ukraine will compete to qualify in Group I with the teams of Kosovo, Turkey, Finland, and Croatia.
