Berlin stages "warm welcome" for Putin

A rally against Russian President Vladimir Putin is being held outside German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s residence in Berlin where the Normandy Four talks with the participation of the leaders of Germany, France, Ukraine, and Russia will be held later tonight, October 19.

Protesters hold blue and yellow flags, banners reading "Stop Putin - Stop war" as well as the flags of the Syrian opposition, calling to cease bombardment of Aleppo.
