On December 17, the Verkhovna Rada supported the appointment of Roman Leshchenko as Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
The Cabinet of Ministers, Ukraine's government, at today's meeting canceled the decision according to which the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food had merged with the Ministry for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture.
"The draft resolution proposes to cancel the decision to reorganize the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine by joining the Ministry for Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture. In fact, this gives rise to the creation of a new Agrarian Policy Ministry," said Economy Minister Ihor Petrashko.
