Wheat exports are expected to shrink by 14.6% to 17.5 million tonnes.
Ukraine's Ministry for Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture forecasts a 20.5% decline in grain exports in the current marketing year (MY, July 2020 - June 2021) to 45.42 million tonnes, against 57.2 million tonnes posted in MY 2019-2020.
In particular, wheat exports are expected to shrink by 14.6% to 17.5 million tonnes, those of corn by 22.4%, to 23.5 million tonnes, and barley by 23.8%, to 3.82 million tonnes, according to the forecasted balance for MY 2020/21 published on the ministry's website.

Background
The Ministry for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture said the grain harvest in 2020 totaled 65.4 million tonnes, which was almost 7 million tonnes down against 2019.
Ukraine in MY 2019-2020 exported a record high of 57.2 million tonnes of grain and legumes, as well as flour onto foreign markets.
