In Ukraine, agriproduction on decline

A 6.7% slide is reported for businesses, while households reduced their output by 4.3%.

Agricultural production in Ukraine in January 2021 decreased by 5.7% year-on-year.

That's according to the State Statistics Service.

In particular, agricultural enterprises in January cut their production by 6.7%, while households reduced their output by 4.3%.

At the same time, Dnipropetrovsk and Ternopil regions increased output by over 15%.

The State Statistics Service says milk production in Ukraine at the end of 2020 decreased by 4.2% (to 9.25 million tonnes), eggs – by 2.9% (to 16.194 billion pieces), and meat – by 1.1% (to 3.45 million tonnes).
