Egg exports also shrank by 68% y-o-y.
Ukraine's State Customs Service says the country in January 2021 exported 29,120 tonnes of poultry meat and offal, which was 22% down year-over-year (y-o-y).
At the same time, exports in monetary terms soared by almost 27% to US$45.87 million (against US$36.14 million in January 2020), the agency's press service said.

Ukraine also reduced egg exports over the period under review to 3,680 tonnes, which was 68% down y-o-y.
At the same time, egg exports more than halved in monetary terms, to US$4.18 million from US$10.48 million in January 2020.
In January 2021, main buyers of Ukrainian eggs were the United Arab Emirates (US$1.45 million, or 34.7% of total supplies), Latvia (US$1.11 million, or 26.7%), and Saudi Arabia (US$643,500, or 15.4%).
Background
In January, Ukraine resumed exports of poultry and eggs to Singapore, which was suspended over a bird flu outbreak late in 2020.
