Ukraine by November 9, 2020, had harvested 55.3 million tonnes of grain from 13.8 million hectares (ha), or 90% of the forecast.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture.

In particular, Ukrainian farmers harvested 19.6 million tonnes of maize from 4 million ha (72%), 241,000 tonnes of millet from 148,300 ha (99%), 104,700 tonnes of buckwheat from 77,800 ha (99%).
Some 12.4 million tonnes of sunflower seeds were harvested from 6.2 million ha (97%), while the yield of soybean was 2.5 million tonnes threshed from 1.2 million ha (93%).
In addition, 6.03 million tonnes of sugar beets were dug up from 147,800 ha (68%).
The ministry also reported about the ongoing sowing campaign in Ukraine.
"As of November 9, Ukrainian agricultural producers had sown the major winter crops on almost 7.7 million ha (94% of the forecast). In particular, the area sown over the last week was 221,200 ha," it said.
As of the reporting date, winter wheat was sown on 5.8 million ha, or 95% of the forecast, barley on 903,000 ha (95%), rye on 119,500 ha (90%), rapeseed on 865,000 ha (86%).
