No immediate rise will follow on January 1.
The Ukrainian government plans to increase the minimum wage, and child support and alimony, accordingly, in July 1, 2020, and December 1, 2020.
Child support and alimony in Ukraine will remain unchanged from January 1, 2021, as they depend on the minimum living wage, which was increased from December 1, 2020, the Ukrainian TSN TV news service reported on December 20.

A 50% minimum guaranteed child support and alimony per child from January 1, 2021 (remained at the level of December 1, 2020):

UAH 1,006.50 (US$36.18) for children under the age of six;
UAH 1,255 (US$45.10) for children aged six to 18.

At the same time, if the alimony payer has sufficient earnings, the court hands down the ruling to set a minimum recommended child support and alimony per child at 100% of the subsistence level for a child of the appropriate age.

Background
The minimum monthly living wage will be increased to UAH 2,189 (US$78.66) per capita from January 1, 2021, to UAH 2,294 (US$82.43) from July 1, and to 2,393 (US$85.99) from December 1.
