It is supposed to be completed in December 2018.
Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman says the Cabinet has supported the construction of a high-speed railway line between the city of Kyiv and Ukraine's largest state-owned international Boryspil Airport located outside the capital, in the town of Boryspil, Kyiv region.
The construction is to begin no later than June 1 and end in December 2018.

At the same time, acting CEO of Ukrainian state-run railways operator JSC Ukrzaliznytsia Yevhen Kravtsov wrote on Facebook that UAH 600-800 million ($22.4-29.9 million) in investment is required under the project, including UAH 720 million ($26.9 million) in capital investment. In particular, UAH 450 million ($16.8 million) will be allocated for the construction of the overpass, UAH 100 million ($3.7 million) for the construction of the railway line, platform, reconstruction of overhead systems, etc., UAH 70 million ($2.6 million) for the construction of a railway shed, and UAH 100 million for re-equipment of rail buses.
Passenger traffic between the city of Kyiv and Boryspil Airport is estimated at up to 8 million people per year.
