Naftogaz of Ukraine has hired a consultant who is preparing a proposal regarding the transparent management of Ukraine's gas transmission system in full compliance with international rules.
More than a dozen world-famous companies have expressed their will to participate in the management of Ukraine's gas transmission system (GTS).

The president also noted that "over a dozen of world-famous companies have already expressed desire to participate in this process."
In his words, the government has already taken relevant important decisions.
"And when we define the range of companies that will be able to provide gas transit, ensure an efficient modernization of the gas transportation network and provide the most benefit to the Ukrainian state in the operation of the gas transportation system, the best company will win," the head of state said, adding that a lot has already been done to this end.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the Cabinet plans on February 21-22 to hold the first round of negotiations with potential partners in managing the GTS. According to Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Kistion, there are already seven interested partners, two of whom are representing well-known gas consortiums.
