The lowest inflation rate at 1.1% over the period under review was recorded in Cherkasy, Kharkiv, and Ternopil regions.
The highest inflation rate in Ukraine at 2.4% in January 2018 against December 2017 was reported in Zakarpattia region.
High inflation was also recorded in Chernivtsi region (2.1%), Kherson region (1.8%), and Ivano-Frankivsk region (1.8%), according to the Ukrainian State Statistics Service website.

As UNIAN reported earlier, inflation in Ukraine in January 2018 accelerated to 1.5% against 1% in December 2017.
Ukraine's key lender, the International Monetary Fund, forecast a 3.2% GDP growth in Ukraine in 2018 amid 10% inflation, while the World Bank predicts a 3.5% increase amid 10% inflation.
According to the expert consensus forecast compiled by UNIAN, the growth of Ukraine's GDP in 2018 may reach 3% amid 11.5% inflation.
