NBU slightly weakens hryvnia forex rate

The National Bank of Ukraine on Monday evening weakened the official hryvnia exchange rate by two kopiykas, bringing the national currency to UAH 27.00 to the dollar.

The Central Bank set the following official exchange rates of the hryvnia against leading foreign currencies for February 27:

US$100 cost UAH 2,700.6610 (on February 26, it was UAH 2,698.8658);

EUR 100 cost UAH 3,327.2144 (on February 26, it was UAH 3,319.3350);

RUB 10 cost UAH 4.8294 (on February 26, it was UAH 4.7548).

Hryvnia quotes against the euro settled at UAH 33.20/33.22, while those against the Russian ruble settled at UAH 0.4770/0.4779.

According to the National Bank of Ukraine, the weighted average exchange rate of the hryvnia as of 17:00 was UAH 27.0066 to the dollar, with 510 deals concluded by this time worth a total of $284.26 million.
