Ukraine in January sees almost UAH 8 bln budget surplus

The state budget of Ukraine in January 2018 was executed with a surplus at the level of UAH 7.871 billion, which is 50% less than in January 2017 at UAH 15.754 billion.

As reported on the State Treasury website, the consolidated budget of Ukraine over the said period was executed with a surplus at UAH 20.515 billion, which is 18% less than reported in the same period last year at UAH 25.018 billion.

It is also reported that the surplus of local budgets in January amounted to UAH 12.644 billion.

The state budget of Ukraine for 2017, with adjustments, assumed revenues of UAH 771 billion, expenditures – at UAH 841 billion, with the deficit ceiling of UAH 77.5 billion, or 3% of GDP.
