Hryvnia quotes against the euro settled at UAH 32.73/32.76, while those against the Russian ruble settled at UAH 0.4770/0.4779.
The National Bank of Ukraine on Wednesday evening strengthened the official hryvnia exchange rate set for March 1 by 14 kopiykas, bringing the national currency to UAH 26.80 to the dollar.
The Central Bank set the following official exchange rates of the hryvnia against leading foreign currencies for March 1:
US$100 cost UAH 2,680.5516 (UAH 2,694.8185 as of February 28);
EUR 100 cost UAH 3,274.0257 (UAH 3,314.8962 as of February 28);
10 RUB cost UAH 4.7549 (UAH 4.8406 as of February 28).

According to the National Bank of Ukraine, the weighted average exchange rate of the hryvnia as of 17:00 was UAH 26.8055 to the dollar, with 488 deals concluded by this time worth a total of $279 million.
