The U.S. dollar was sold for UAH 26.90 on the previous day.
The cash hryvnia in Kyiv's currency exchange booths strengthened on Thursday, March 1, when the U.S. dollar was sold for UAH 26.80 and the euro for UAH 33.00.

At the same time, the currency exchange booths bought the dollar for UAH 26.75 and the euro for UAH 32.80, according to an UNIAN correspondent.
On Wednesday, February 28, they sold the dollar for UAH 26.90 and the euro for UAH 33.20.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the National Bank of Ukraine on Wednesday evening strengthened the official hryvnia exchange rate set for March 1 by 14 kopiykas, bringing the national currency to UAH 26.80 to the dollar.
